Médailles algériennes aux jeux Africains de Rabat 2019

Les disciplines individuelles sont les fleurons du sport algérien qui sont capables de rapporter le plus grand nombre de médailles et même de décrocher des médailles au niveau mondial. Avec cinq médailles d'or, sept en argent et neuf en bronze, c'est la Natation qui a dominé les autres disciplines engagées aux jeux de Rabat 2019, devant la gymnastique et l’aviron. L’equipe d’athlétisme se trouve aussi parmi les premiers rangs des grands gagnants de ces jeux qui a occupé la quatrième place du tableau national avec aussi cinq titres africains (110mh, 400mh, longueur, perche et Decathlon.)
A voir de plus près les résultats, le constat est saisissant concernant les performances des représentants au niveau d’autres disciplines qui n’ont pas pu atteindre le podium. Le nombre est relativement important, six disciplines sur vingt-cinq (24%) n’ont pu remporter une seule médaille et 14 disciplines (56%) n’ont pu décrocher une médaille d’or. Seulement onze disciplines (44%) ont pu monter sur la première marche du podium.
L’Algérie s’est classée quatrième avec une récolte de 125 médailles dont 33 en Or, mais s’est retrouvée loin de l’Egypte qui a pris la tête du classement en raflant 273 médailles, dont 102 en or,
suivi du Nigeria et de l'Afrique du sud. Malgré une hausse en nombre de médailles, les représentants de la délégation algérienne n’ont pu améliorer leur performance par rapport à la précédente édition. L’Algérie enregistre une dette de 7 médailles d’or.

Algerian medals at African Games Rabat 2019

The individual disciplines are the flagships of Algerian sport that have been able to bring back the greatest number of medals and even win medals at the world level. With five gold, seven silver and nine bronze medals, it was Swimming that dominated the other disciplines take part at African Games in Rabat 2019, ahead of gymnastics and rowing. Algeria records a debt of 7 gold medals.
