Le saut en longueur se porte bien en Arabie Saoudite.
L’année 2008 restera marquée par les JO.de Pékin.
Les deux meilleurs sauteurs Saoudiens au saut en longueur ont connu de très importantes pressions psychologiques avant et durant le jour de la compétition,pourtant ayant assurés facilement leur participation a cette grande manifestation sportive et ayant aussi réussis de très bons résultats lors des compétitions de préparations durant leur période pré-compétitive.Mais malheureusement n'ont pu franchir le cap des huit qualifies a la finale olympique du saut en longueur.Et puis heureusement une bonne prestation (surprise) a leur dernière compétition de la saison lors de la finale mondiale du Grand Prix a Stuttgart le 13-14 septembre 2008. Ces résultats obtenus ont pu remettre les deux athletes sur de bonnes motivations psychologiques pour la saison prochaine qui leur ont presque fait oublier l'image de Pékin.
Du cote des jeunes,on enregistre une bonne poignet d’athlètes qui pourront suivre le chemin de leurs aines,deja ils se positionnent comme concurrents serieux dans la discipline sur le plan regional.La participation Saoudienne aux différentes compétitions régionales et mondiale demontre l'existence d'une releve ambitieuse dans cette discipline.
Au championnat du Golf juniors au mois de mai dernier qui se sont déroulé à Qateef (Arabie Saoudite),l'athlete Mubarak Al Jasseer a démontré son talent en décrochant la médaille d'or avec un saut de 7.62m,quant à son compatriote Majeed Al Gahes ayant réalisé cette saison 7.21m s'est offert la médaille d'argent avec 7.10m.
Au championnat d'Asie juniors a Jakarta le 12-15/06/208. Mubarak prend la médaille d'argent avec un saut de 7.74m (2.2m/s.)
Au championnat Arabe juniors a Tunis le 20-23/06/2008.Mubarak decroche aussi la médaille d'argent avec 7.38m.
Au championnat du monde juniors à Bydgoszcs en Pologne.Mubarak prend la quatrième place du classement de la finale du saut en longueur en réalisant 7.57m loin que de deux centimètres du troisième concurrent.

SAUDI RESULTS IN LONG JUMP./ 2008.
The long jump is alive and well in Saudi Arabia.
The year 2008 is marked by JO.de pekin.
The two Saudis best jumpers in the long jump have experienced very large psychological pressure before and during the day of the competition, yet with easy assures their participation in this great sporting event and having so very good results in competitions during their preparation competitive period.But unhapily could not pass the course eight athlets to the final Olympic long jump . Then fortunately a good service (surprise) at their last competition of the season at the world finals of the Grand Prix in Stuttgart on 13-14 September 2008. These achievements have put both athletes on good psychological motivation for next season that they almost forget the image of Beijing.
In youth categories championships , there is a good wrist athletes who will follow the path of their elders, they already are positioning themselves as serious competitors in the discipline in terms regional.La Saudi participation in the different regional and global competitions demonstrated the existence of some ambitious athletes in long jump.
At Junior Golf Championship last May held in Qateef (Saudi Arabia), the athlete Jasseer Al Mubarak has shown his talent in the gold medal with a jump of 7.62m, as a fellow Majeed Al Gahes with 7.21m realize this season has offered a silver medal with 7.10m.
