Le meeting international d'athlétisme de Dakar (Sénégal.) est l'un des plus important du continent Africain.Il a progressivement pris de l'ampleur par son niveau téchnique et organisationnel.
Le rendez-vous de Dakar devient un évènement fixe depuis quelques années dans le circuit mondial des grands meetings.Il est aussi un thêatre de spectacle qui accueille chaque année un nombre important de spectateurs locaux et d'athlètes de niveau mondial venant de tous les coins du monde.
Cette edition a connu de très bons résultats au lancers de poids chez les deux sexes par contre dans les épreuves de sauts et de courses ,le vent dépassant les normes officielles a totalement pérturbé le bon déroulement de la compétition.

The international athletics meeting in Dakar (Senegal.) is one of the most important in Africain continent .It has gradually been expanding in technical and organizational level.
The appointment of Dakar became a fixed event in recent years in the global circuit of major meetings.It is also a theater show that every year a large number of local spectators and athletes worldwide from all over the world.
This edition has seen very good results in the shot put by against in the jumping and racing events , the wind beyond the official standards has totally disrupted the smooth running of the competition.
