NDISS KABA BADJI,CHANCEUX AVEC LE VENT POUR LES 8.27 M. EN LONGUEUR AU MEETING IAAF WORLD CHALLENGE DE DAKAR

MEETING DU GRAND PRIX DE LA VILLE DE DAKAR : 24-04-2010.

L'espoir sénégalais, Ndiss Kaba Badji, a été le plus chanceux de ses concurrents au rendez-vous du meeting de Dakar en réalisant une très bonne performance au saut en longueur après avoir sauté 8.27m avec un vent régulier de (+0.7m/s.) qui a atteint les 5.70m/s. au cours d'autres essais . Seuleument quatre concurrents des neufs participants ont realisé des performances sans vitesse de vent supplementaire . En tout cas , cela constituait une prestation positive pour Badji , le pensionnaire du Centre international d'athlétisme de Dakar surtout après la grande décéption aux Championnats du monde en salle de Doha (Qatar) où il ne parvenait même pas à franchir les 8,00 m pour se qualifier à une finale très ouverte.

Senegalese Ndiss Badji Kaba was more lucky than others competitors in Dakar IAAF Grand Prix meeting by making a very good performance in long jump after jumping 8.27m with a regular wind (+0.7 m/s) which reached 5.7m/s. during competition. Only four competitors of nine participants have achieved performance without additional wind speed. In any case, this result was a positive benefit for Badji , especially after his disappointment at the World Indoor Championships in Doha (Qatar), where he could not even jump 8.00 m to qualify for a wide open final.

AL AHLY CLUB D'ATHLETISME DE JEDDAH RESTE INVINCIBLE AU DEUXIEME TOUR DES INTER-CLUBS DE LA SUPER DIVISION.

En poursuivant sa domination Al Ahly club remporte la deuxième phase des inter-clubs de la super division.
Le deuxième tour des inter-clubs de la super division qui regroupe les douze meilleurs clubs d'athlétisme du royaume s'est tenu ce week-end (21-22/04/2010) à Riyadh dans des conditions climatiques très défavorables . Le club Al Ahly de Jeddah s'est imposé encore une fois avec un total de 125 points devant le club Al Safa du Qatif qui a maintenu sa deuxième position en réalisant un total de 103 points . La troisième place est revenu au club Al Hilal de Riyadh avec 88 points . Les vert et blanc du Ahly ont dominé cette deuxième phase en s'imposant dans la majorité des épreuves du programme.
Malgré les mauvaises conditions climatiques , certains athlétes ont pu démontrer des niveaux appréciables mais toujours sans grandes surprises encore durant cette période.Il faut citer encore une fois la performance intéressante de l'athlète Sultan Al Habshi (Al Hilal Club) au lancer du poids avec 19.00 m. Belle performance également de Ahmed Al Moaleed (Al Ahly Club), vainqueur du 110m haies en 13"90 , ou encore les performances de Ahmed Faiz Binmarzoug (Al Jubail Club) au saut en longueur avec 7.73m et de Majed Ghazi ( Al Hilal Club) au triple saut avec 15.72m et en fin les 47"10 au 400m de Smael Al Sabeani (Al Itihad Club).
Rendez - vous au troisième tour des inter-clubs à Qatif dans trois semaines.

AL AHLY ATHLETIC CLUB OF JEDDAH REMAINS INVINCIBLE IN SECOND ROUND OF THE INTER-CLUBS / SUPER DIVISION.

Continuing dominance, Al Ahly club won the second phase of inter- clubs (Super division).
The second round of inter- clubs comprising the twelve best athletic clubs in the kingdom, held this weekend (21-22/04/2010) in Riyadh in very bad weather conditions. Al Ahly club of Jeddah has emerged again with a total of 125 points ahead of Al Safa club of Qatif, which has maintained its second position by achieving a total of 103 points. The third returned to the Al Hilal club of Riyadh with 88 points. The green and white, Al Ahly club dominated the second stage by winning the majority of program events .
Despite poor weather conditions, some athletes have demonstrated significant levels but still no major surprises during this période . Must be mentioned once again the performance of Sultan Al Habshi (Al Hilal Club) in the shot put with 19.00 m.
